Think before you book

Questions, answered

Prices, tiers, how long they last, and how to find the suite. If it's not here, DM @evil_with_elegance and ask; she's heard weirder.

How much does it cost to get your nails done at Evil With Elegance?

A gel manicure is $45, builder gel overlay $65 and Gel-X extensions $75. Nail art is added by tier: Simple designs from $15, Detailed from $25, Advanced from $40 and Complex hand-drawn or 3D sets from $60. Every price is listed on the Services page and on Booksy, so there are no surprises at the end.

How do I book?

Everything is booked through Booksy. Pick your base service (gel manicure, builder gel or Gel-X), add the design tier that matches your idea, and add a removal if you're wearing product. First-time clients: send your inspiration photos through the Inspo page so the right tier is booked before you arrive.

Which design tier should I book?

If you're not sure, send the photo. Rough guide: French tips, dots and stripes are Tier 1; line work, cat-eye, marble and isolated chrome are Tier 2; 3D gel, chrome and charms on every nail are Tier 3; characters and intricate 3D scenes are Tier 4. Nerissa will confirm the tier when she sees your inspo.

How long do Gel-X nails last?

Three to four weeks for most people, with the right prep and aftercare. Structured gel on natural nails is usually refilled every three to four weeks too. Removal is free for returning clients; just add it to the booking.

Do you take walk-ins?

The studio is a private suite with one artist, so appointments are the way in. Same-week slots are often available on Booksy.

Do you do kids' nails?

Yes. Kids aged 5 to 12 get a gentle manicure with non-toxic polish and, if they want, a fun mini pedicure. A parent stays in the suite. It's a favourite for birthdays and back-to-school.

Do you do men's manicures and pedicures?

Yes: a men's manicure is $25 (with or without clear coat) and a men's pedicure is $40. No polish required, no fuss.

Where exactly is Suite 18?

Inside Unique Salon Suites at 10905 SW 40th St (Bird Road), Miami, FL 33165, in the Westchester area. Park in the building lot, come in the main entrance and follow the suite numbers to 18. Directions and a map are on the Location page.

What should I do before my appointment?

Come with clean, dry nails and your inspiration photos. If you're wearing product from another salon, book the first-time removal. Bring headphones if you like; sets with art take an hour or more.

How much should I tip?

Tips are appreciated, never required. 15 to 20 percent is the usual range in Miami, and Booksy lets you add it when you pay.

What is your cancellation policy?

Booksy shows the current deposit and cancellation terms when you book. In short: give as much notice as you can so the slot can go to someone else, and arrive on time; late arrivals may lose the design portion of the appointment.

Is the studio licensed?

Yes. Nerissa is a Florida-licensed nail technician working from a private, single-client suite. Tools are sanitized between clients and files and buffers are single-use.

Still deciding?

Send the inspo. The tier is usually the only thing standing between you and the set.
